I Ate Too Much!

April 6th, 2008 Lose weight with Medifast Diet

I have been dieting all my life, or so it seems. The only problem is that I don’t think I’m very good at dieting. Or to put it another way, I always think I’m great at it but I guess the results speak for themselves.

I remember once trying to create my own diet. I based the central thesis on the Atkins Diet where you are allowed to eat as much protein and animal fats as you want. I mixed it with a high fiber thesis I had read in a magazine and tried to balance the approach with plenty of carbs, fast release sugars, fruit and nuts. In the long run this sort of diet would probably be called “balanced”.

In my case, however, the massive amounts of alcohol and fizzy drinks I consumed probably undid some of the potential benefits.

Anyway, the long run result of massively binging on all of these food groups was that I weighed more than anyone in my primary school. A burst of adding salad items to my grotesque diet did nothing to help, other than to fill me up before gorging myself further on the chocolate and candy that I later added to the diet in a desperate bid to “balance” my intake.

My doctor has now said that I probably don’t have long to live. I am surprised by this but also greatly disheartened. It made me never want to diet again. Talk about a massive failure and when I say massive I mean massive, truly huge. What a failure I have been.

The real “balanced” diet is the Medifast diet.  If I would have found it a long time ago, maybe my doctor wouldn’t have had to tell me what he did.

If you’ve failed massively like me, or if you are looking for a “balanced” diet, try the Medifast diet program.  Even doctors recommend it.
